Oh yeah; he was getting up as the GIF ended. If he was really hurt, he’d have just laid there. (On the one hand, horses injure easily; on the other, not *that* easily.)

This is a young horse, probably not even a year old yet. He was more startled than hurt.
I think the word you’re looking for is “foal”. And he did carry on playing with the ball afterwards – says so in the video description on youtube.
